Mildmay Neighbourhood Learning Centre

Mildmay Neighbourhood Learning Centre opened to the public in September 2004 – a joint project with Education, Redbridge Early Years, Lifelong Learning and Redbridge Institute of Adult Education. Together, they have created an environment in which local people, businesses and voluntary sector groups can advocate, plan and share educational requirements and experiences.

It is a key development in achieving wider participation of people in formal and informal learning opportunities, information, advice and guidance and local community involvement.

Mildmay NLC, centrally located in Ilford, corner of Albert Road and Mildmay Road, has benefited from a total refurbishment supported by LB Redbridge and a major capital grant from the Learning & Skills Council.
