Reception and the Centre Office

On arrival you are greeted by a member of staff at reception at the front of the building. It is here that the centre staff and arrangements are housed.

While waiting, please make use of our facilities. We have a small seating area which can display your organisations details on the community notice boards around you.

IAG Suite

The Learner Information, Advice and Guidance suite comes with an integrated confidential interview room. This suite has internet access points and printing facilities. It can also be used as a teaching and meeting room for small groups of up to 10 learners This room proivides ICT facilities for learners with disabilities.

The Creche

A 12 place childcare facility for learners using the site for daytime classes which is managed through Redbridge Early Years Partnership. (Bookings can be made through reception during office hours).

The space is divided into two areas; 'messy play' and 'clean play' - The Creche has its own outside soft play area, its own toilets and changing area and the use of the kitchen.

Teaching and learning spaces

We can offer 4 rooms, offering spacious teaching and learning environments. Each room houses a range of ICT equipment that allows each of the spaces to be flexible in their design and usage.

Each room should be able to take between 10 - 14 learners comfortably depending on what additional requirements you need, this number can be increased to the maximum of 20 in one or two rooms only.

The small meeting room- Has been designed to enable (up to 8) users to hold meetings or work from. It is an ideal interview space, that is light and airy. It has full ICT connectivity.

One room has been set aside primarily as a Health and Fitness suite so that a diverse range of programmes can be taught at this centre.

Equally this room can be used as a 'normal' teaching space.

The centre also has incorporated a staff/work suite into this secure area, where staff can develop resources for use with learners. It is also suitable for training in the use of ICT equipment. Facilities on offer include; black and white and colour printing, photocopying and laminating.

This room also contains kitchen facilities including microwave, fridge as well as cupboards and storage space.

Toilets

Throughout the site you will see we have a range of toilets that are single sex use as well as two toilets set aside for learners and staff that require specialist space or assistance.
